One of the biggest problems with pool loungers is that they're generally rather small and allow only one person to float without being in danger of capsizing. However, several solutions to this issue have appeared over the years, and that's exactly the type of product we'll talk about as follows, namely the Two Person Water Lounger.
Although it doesn't really qualify as nautical equipment, this device can, nevertheless, be used extensively on the sea, and even on those pools installed on luxury boats. The inflatable lounger allows two people to relax comfortably head-to-toe, and is manufactured out of a very tough material, namely 0.3 mm thick PVC that will withstand exuberant play.
Additionally, the device has a removable, inflatable cooler located in the center of the craft that holds up to six 12 oz. cans of beverage and ice. A cup holder built into either side of the hull provides a convenient place for a drink, waterproof MP3 player, sunglasses, or whatever else you might think of.
Furthermore, two inflatable, removable pillows snap onto the hull and remove easily. The lounger inflates in minutes using the included manual air pump. It also deflates quickly and stows unobtrusively for off-season storage.
It's also important to mention that the lounger supports a relatively low amount of weight (160 kilos), which means that chubbier persons will probably have to purchase two of these. Dimensions might also be worth mentioning, so here goes: 90 inches in diameter, 12 inches in height, at an overall weight of around 6.5 kilograms.
The Two Person Lounger has an estimated retail price of around 130 US dollars, which is not exactly a very small price for a product of this type, but, at the same time, it's not exactly that expensive, given just how useful it could prove to be around the pool. |
