These are just a few introductory words that can be said about the Oberon watch, manufactured by S-Mode and presented by the people over at TokyoFlash, a device that has a very interesting appearance, and also tells the time using a very interesting combination of LED lights.



Although it's not as easy to use as your everyday timepieces, the Oberon's special method of telling the exact hour is not that difficult. Thus, the outer ring of LED's indicate the hour, the second ring indicates single minutes and the third, the most-inner ring, indicates the minutes in groups of tens. Furthermore, in order to make things even easier, the position of the lights is the same as 1-12 on a regular clock dial. The watch also has a date mode which can be read in a similar manner and is activated by a second push of the button.



Although it's manufactured from stainless steel (black IP coated, which generates the enhanced visual effect mentioned earlier) and can take around 5 ATM of pressure, the Oberon watch is not unnaturally large, nor is it very heavy. Thus, the device measures around 38mm x 38mm x 11mm, at a weight of just around 150 grams, which means that it can be worn by just about anyone, as long as the respective person has a maximum wrist size of around 210 mm.



The time-telling device from TokyoFlash retails for 14,900 Yen (135 US dollars), which is a rather good price to pay for such an item, taking into account just how attractive, special and interesting this device is.
