Watchmaking is one of the fields that the tech savvy are constantly trying to upgrade. And they have a very high rate of success in doing so, considering the fact that there are only few companies left to produce watches that won't look like miniature spaceships or hyalin metallic structures. The mechanisms that used to make a watch have changed throughout time and most of the products that bear this name today are far from looking like traditional watches.

Tokyoflash has always been known for its intriguing watches, with a complex and hard-to-read design, but a very elevated factor of coolness, at the same time. This time, the Japanese company has come up with another typical (for Tokyoflash, atypical for everybody else) wrist watch, the Jackpot watch.

Tokyoflash has always targeted the retro and design-minded when it came to their unique line of watches. But this time around they’re casting their net a little wider to include those with a gambling addiction, particularly slot jockeys.

The Tokyoflash Jackpot watch has a set of 4 dot-matrix LEDs used to present the time and date, but they also double as the spinning dials in a slot machine. The Jackpot LED watch has a thick stainless steel case which is approximately 1.625 x 1.625 x 0.5 inches and weighs 2 oz. It's a chunky watch with a nice heft to it. The band is black leather and can accommodate a wrist from 6 to 8 inches in diameter. The watch is powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery.

The watch has 3 large spring loaded buttons. Two on the right side and one on the left. This buttons allow you to display the time and date, as well as play the built in slots game. One button is used to set your bet and the other is used to spin the digits, and I assume as you play, the watch keeps track of your running total. Thankfully though if you have an unlucky streak the only money you’ll actually lose is the $99.99 you paid for the watch in the first place.
