Desktop gaming systems are the highest performance configurations available on the market. They are meant to provide gamers with the power needed to flawlessly run any of the latest games released on the market. This is why companies like CyberPower built their systems using only the best hardware components available on the market. One of their gaming configurations, based on a AMD platform, has been dubbed CyberPower Gamer Ultra SLI Quad.
This system has been built with the support provided by the Asus M2N SLI motherboards. This mobo deals with an NVIDIA nForce 560 SLI chipset, which means it will work better with an NVIDIA graphics card. CyberPower built this system in CoolerMaster Stacker 830 Tower case, which provided some easy installation process and better cooling performance. For the standard version, users can get to chose the color of the case, going with either black or silver.
As far as performance goes, the system will provide the user with the computing power of an AMD Phenom X4 9750, a Quad-Core central processing unit. Users can get to change the CPU with only $6, which will bring them the Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition. The CPU will be cooled down by a Cooler Master CPU liquid cooling solution.
The power supply will provide a total of 800 W of power, which will be able to run the SLI setup. The two graphic cards meant to run in SLI are two NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2, which will provide the user with a total of 2 GB of graphic memory. This will most certainly increase the gaming experience of any extreme user. Unfortunately the standard version isn't shipped with any monitor, which means you will need to acquire one yourself.
Still, for approximately $2600 you will have at your disposal some impressive piece of computing power. You will also deal with 500 GB for date storage and 148 GB on two Gaming Western Digital Raptor hard drives. |
