One of Microsoft's main qualities is that it has always known how to spot and capitalize on a good business opportunity. And given the fact that Razer is one of the best-known names in the gaming world, the company from Redmond has entered a very interesting partnership with it, launching, up until now, a couple of very interesting products, including here the particular model you're about to see as follows, the Reclusa gaming keyboard.
The device clearly reminds us of Razer's famous keyboard, the Tarantula. And that's not only because it has a very sleek and ergonomic form factor and a backlight system, but also because it features gold-plated USB ports, which provide faster speeds with maximum conductivity.
The fact that the designers and engineers from Razer have had some pretty important things to say in the development of the Reclusa is also visible from the fact that the keyboard sports a couple of control options specific for gaming peripherals. For example, the device has been equipped with Razer Hyperesponse technology, which seriously reduces key latency for maximized response.
Additionally, the device comes equipped with Two 360-Degree Jog-Dials, each of them installed on one side of the keyboard, for quicker access during intense gameplay sessions. The keyboard also comes packed with a couple of programmable (or bumper) buttons that enable easy access to common keyboard commands.
The peripheral also allows users to create and store different macros and keystrokes for each game profile, which means that several moves can be activated with the touch of one key. Furthermore, users can create and store Key Mapping and Macros for each game profile, while the keyboard software also automatically assigns different game profiles for supported games.
The Microsoft Reclusa sells for around 70 US dollars, which is a pretty decent price point, given its very impressive “pedigree”. |
