Blue Orb orbiTouch Keyless...

Mouses (or mice) and keyboards have evolved quite a lot over time, although the initial concept behind them hasn't changed significantly. But we can't say the same about the orbiTouch Keyless Keyboard, a keyboard which has eliminated completely the need to type.

Created especially for those people who suffer from some severe form of hand disability, but also for people suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, the orbiTouch Keyless Keyboard allows the user to type in all the characters existing on a normal keyboard without raising their hands from the contact surface, just by moving the two control domes in one of the 8 possible positions.

These moves allow the input of letters and characters, but that's not all, because the keyboard also works as a mouse, which really allows the users to control the computer in the same fast and easy manner described above.

And of you're thinking that this device will take a lot of time to get accustomed to, think again. Thus, every orbiTouch keyless ergonomic keyboard comes with a typing tutor program, with on-screen help, which helps users learn how to use the peripheral in a proficient manner after just a few hours of practice.

As you might have guessed already, the orbiTouch is a bit more expensive than your average keyboard, as it retails for around 300 US dollars. Nevertheless, for those people who can't use their hands normally anymore, this sum is quite worth it, as this device can give them back, at least to some extent, their computer-related skills.
