The stylish all-in-one LG microwave oven, the SolarCUBE is the latest LG Light Wave Oven that uniquely integrates four heat sources - microwave, grill, convection and halogen. The SolarCUBE oven can cook nutritious meals up to four times faster than your conventional oven.

The powerful halogen lights cook both, the outside of food and the inside simultaneously, resulting in one delicious and healthy food, crispy on outside, moist and tender inside, with all the flavors and nutrients sealed for your enjoyment. The three-level rack system of this LG microwave also enables you to cook several dishes at once.

This combination of heat sources does not only provide you with cooking versatility, but also with maximum cooking space, while the easy to use control panel with wide display makes your cooking a lot easier too.

The feature-packed oven is very simple to operate with the attractive, intelligent controls which compliment its sleek exterior and easily guide you through the many cooking options. Main features include 32 liter capacity, stainless steel multi groove interior, 5 power levels, auto-cooking with 12 programmable dishes, auto- reheat and defrost, time setting, child lock, Quick Start and More/Less functions.

The SolarCUBE features a tact dial control with Dual LED and comes with a square metal tray and rack. Its auto-cooking function sports presets for dishes such as French fries, chicken, beef steak, roast pork, roast beef, jacket potatoes, fresh vegetables, rice and pasta.

The SolarCUBE is not only attractive, with its simple and elegant design, but also very durable and highly practical, ideal for small places. The price for the LG SolarCUBE microwave in stainless steel finish is around 300 pounds, while the black version sells for about 260 pounds sterling.

Oh that this product is as good as it looks... Sadly, it's not.

Our first SolarCUBE expired after just three months use (as a microwave only - we bought a SolarCUBE as back-up to our main oven).

Its' replacement has now just expired again - £350 for 18 months use, and only as a microwave!

Contact with LG was pointless - a repair bill have to be made irrespective. Of course, we could have paid £69 to extend the warranty but didn't believe it would be necessary on a supposedly high-end product from a major manufacturer. Why don't they just charge £419 and give a free 5-year guarantee if they lack confidence in their products?

Trust me, this is one product that NEEDS every extended warranty you can get!
It is poorly made and we sincerely wish we had purchased the SMEG instead.

Be warned...
