Bugatti is one of the world's fastest cars brands, and, an the same time, one of the most exclusive car manufacturers ever.Throughout time, the company has developed some of the fastest racing cars in the world, despite the fact that the brand has changed hands quite a few times, now being under the control of the Volkswagen group. Nevertheless, it would seem that some inventive entrepreneur has decided to do a little something for the (many) people who simply can't afford one of the famous Bugatti models (like the Veyron, for example) and created the Bugatti Volo Toaster, a bread toaster that borrows the brand essence and, to some extent, the design line of the classical automobiles released in the 30's by Ettore Bugatti.
Presented by the people over at WhereDidYouBuyThat, the device is clearly an homage to the classical super-fast sports cars. Thus, the device's design is quite interesting, with the red, curved body and the chrome-plated base (which looks just like a bumper), not to mention the Bugatti insignia placed on the front side.
However, the toaster is no ordinary kitchen appliance, since it offers users a number of very interesting hi-tech features. Thus, the device features a motorized toast-lifting system, which makes bread removal a lot easier, as well as six electronic browning control options. Moreover, it sports wide slots, which can accommodate varying thickness of bread and comes complete with a crumpet warming rack.
The Bugatti Volo Toaster also features 4 pre-set cooking options, includes a serving and sandwich tray, and can even cook bagels, should the users desire so. However, it requires quite a lot of power (930 Watts, to be precise) and is also quite bulky, weighing around 6 kilograms.
As one might expect from anything built under the Bugatti brand, the device is anything but cheap, retailing for around 300 US dollars, which is way too much to pay for a toaster, even an advanced and Bugatti-branded one such as this model. |
