Mobile phones, PCs or Segways are not the only devices to get pimped up by a partnership with Ferrari. Take this optical device, for example. The Visio 8 x 25 binoculars were introduced to the market as a result of Ferrari's partnership with William Optics.
The binoculars are a tribute to the Maranello car maker's leadership on the luxury car market and prove that William Optics has succeeded in experimenting new standards in style. Regarding the manufacturing process, the pair of optical devices is made from real carbon fiber plate, the same used in the production of the F1 car itself. So, you could say the feeling you get when using these binoculars is comparable to that of driving a Formula1 Ferrari car.
As for their dimensions, the binoculars are extremely lightweight, at only 290 grams. The purchased package includes a neck strap and cordura pouch. Regarding the additional accessories, the pair of binoculars comes with the famous Ferrari logo (the prancing horse) inscribed onto it.
The optical device is also ergonomic and provides up to 8 x magnification level via its multi coated lenses and the roof-type prisms. The Visio were specially designed to be used at major sports events and the waterproof casing makes them functional on bad weather as well.
Just imagine how cool it would be to attend the next F1 race and cheer your favorites with a pair of those. However, the racing optics range also includes the Ferrari ZenithStar Racing Edition telescope, which is a 66mm, high grade aluminum body scope designed for casual observations. The portable and versatile design also accommodates digital SLR cameras, so the photographers can use it as a telephoto lens.
Both items are available online for a starting price around 200 bucks for the binoculars and 700 bucks for the telescope. |
