Who says you need to be a billionaire to afford a Lamborghini? All you have to do is to understand that Asus is, from 2006, the partner of Lamborghini Auto and that their collaboration has spawn a very interesting and appealing product. The Asus Lamborghini VX1 Notebook has been developed in such a way that, as long as you have one, it will continuously remind you of a Lamborghini car. The Lamborghini notebook comes in 2 different color themes, one totally black and the other, probably more similar to the Lamborghini car, yellow and black. An interesting marketing strategy from Asus would be to offer a free Lamborghini car for each Asus Lamborghini notebook.
From the release of the VX1 model in 2006, the Lamborghini notebook had enough time to grow and be able to offer the latest technology, but in the same stylish and unique package. Thus, the VX2 model was brought to life which was built on the latest Intel Santa Rosa Platform and with discrete graphics by NVIDIA.
The exterior design of the VX2s features a premium leather bound palm rest with exquisite stitch detailing, a built-in 240-degree swiveling webcam and the Lamborghini logo near the full-featured keyboard. The back of the notebook brings forward a wheel-rimmed fan lid that is used for ventilation. The black version features a chrome-like black painting, meant to bring even closer to the Lamborghini experience.
The technical specs on the VX2S are nothing less than you will expect from a Lamborghini with the possibility of choosing between one of the two Intel Core 2 Duo processors, the: T7700 and T7500. The Mobile Intel PM965 Express chipset provided with the VX2S notebook allows for a up to 4 GB DDR667 memory, while the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT GPU manages to offer high-quality video on the 15.4-inch LCD display. |
