Most professional gamers can now be seen on various tournaments and gaming shows all over the world. This means that they need to have their gaming rigs packed and ready to go at any time. That is why a number of system builders are offering gaming notebooks built with only the highest performance components. One of those system builders is a company named CyberPower, which also has a complete line of desktop gaming rigs.
One of their gaming rigs, which is built with support for AMD's latest mobile CPUs has been dubbed Xplorer X64-7000 Notebook. The notebook has been designed using a MSI 17-inch chassis, which provides the notebook with some pretty impressive design features. The black piano finish renders the Xplorer notebook quite pleasant to look at.
Still, aesthetics is far from what this notebook has been built for. Being a portable gaming rig, the Xplorer X64-7000 delivers a number of performance features. Among them, the AMD Turion X2 Dual Core TL-64 central processor, shipped with the standard version, will provide the user with a 2.2 GHz computing power. Based on a ATI RS690 chipset, this notebook has a built-in ATI Radeon HD2600 Mobile graphic card. The graphic will operate with 512MB of DDR2 memory, rendering some high-quality gaming for its users.
The 2 GB of system memory are made out of two 1 GB Corsair memory modules, running at 667MHz on two SODIMMs. You will be able to extended your system memory up to 4 GB, which will increase the overall price tag of the notebook by a good $100. Regarding storage, this CyberPower notebook offers a total of 250 GB of storage space, for the standard version. Extending that amount can be realized through an upgrade of the internal storage or by adding another external storage device, through the built-in USB ports.
The standard version of this CyberPower portable gaming rig will leave you short of approximately $1200. |
