If you dream of becoming one of the world's greatest drummers, then this might come in handy. The iPod Drumsticks presented by the people over at DrumBum since the first half of 2007 will actually allow users to make their own music, but they are also capable of working with iPods and MP3 players and even with stereo systems and personal computers, to make you sing along with favorite band.
The device offers both standalone and interactive functioning modes. In the first one, you simply plug in the iPod Drumsticks to your external speaker or earphone, adjust the volume and then simulate a full drum kit: snare drum, tom toms, bass drum, hi-hat and cymbals. It also has an additional “fill in” effects function.
Moreover, this accessory offers users a wide range of control options, including here the possibility to activate the background rhythm and adjust the tempo control to their preference. Furthermore, in interactive mode, users can simply plug-in the device and then play along to their favorite music.
The system features an integrated volume control, 6 real drumstick sounds, six different background beat drums patterns for beginners, several pre-programmed rhythm backgrounds and a tempo control system. The iPod Drumsticks require very little power in order to work, namely just 2 AAA batteries.
The iPod Drumsticks sells for just 32 US dollars, which is a very small amount to pay for a device that might actually help you become the world's next best drummer. |
