Sony has made history in the music world, being the first to introduce the concept of portable music players, through its trademark Walkman products. Over the years, this concept has evolved, materializing in high-end media players that offer attractive designs and outstanding sound quality to their users.
Like always, Sony wanted to bring people audio and video content at its best; the only difference this time is that it did so while "splashing" its new Walkman line with vivid and playful colors, which is the first thing you'll notice about these players, launched at the IFA 2008.
The slim E (NWZ-E430F) series Walkman video MP3 player comes in four chic color finishes, with a 2-inch QVGA LCD screen and a simple file management system, complemented by a user-friendly interface and ultra-long battery life, all these in a superb package that will bestow class and style on every user.
Like the S series, all E series models are ‘format friendly’, playing back most of your ripped tracks, music store downloads and rights-managed video clips without fuss. Files can be transferred by drag & drop from iTunes to the WALKMAN (DRM files not transferred). Simple file management is complemented by a user-friendly interface and ultra-long battery life in a value package that looks as good as it sounds.
You can view pictures or watch videos in vivid detail on the high-brightness, color LCD, without the fear that it will run out of power, because it's lithium-ion built-in battery grants it 45 hours of continuous music and up to 8 hours of uninterrupted video playback, while offering support of multiple audio codecs and video formats. You can even listen to your favorite FM programming thanks to a built-in FM tuner.
The 8GB built-in memory allows it to store 1850 songs or 30 hours of video content, while the player supports multiple high-quality video formats (AVC (H.264/AVC), MPEG-4, and WMV2, as well as a variety of audio codecs (MP3, WMA, AAC-LC 3, and L-PCM), giving you more freedom to download the kind of music and video that you want.
This video MP3 player sells for approximately $140. |
