Coby manufacturers have gained a respectful position on the market, over the years, due to their high quality products. Continuing their latest series of portable media players, the company added another one in its portfolio, dubbed MP-C945.
Regarding the product's design, there's not much to say, except it reveals the same glossy black design like most of the Coby players, complimented by a minimalist control scheme and nicely combined shades of ruby and dark black. The device comes packed with a 4 GB micro hard disk, meaning it can store up to 2000 songs on a single loading session.
On the outside, the manufacturers have equipped the item with a generously enough to matter 1.5inch screen display, but, hey, at least it's OLED. However, it's hard not to notice its classy touch pad interface control. It can play your favorite music from various supports, including the online stores and the subscription services. Needless to say it is compatible with most popular file formats on the market, such as MP3 and WMA.
Besides that, there is a music library function incorporated, which helps the user find its favorite music, by certain criteria, such as: artist, album, song or playlist. Apart from the music playback option, the player provides digital voice recording, using an integrated microphone. Also, the device can double as an eBook reader, despite it's rather small display.
Being capable of reading photo formats, the device can deal with JPG files, while the video recording is possible only in MPEG-4 format. The Coby player is powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. Apart from all this, maybe it's useful to know it provides language support in English, Spanish and Portuguese and works great on both Windows and Mac OS.
In case you want to add one of these on your shopping list, its price tag is around 130 bucks a piece! |
