MPIO' MG100 features a nice silver metallic body with a smooth touch of black accent on its body casing. It sports convenient size of 40.4 x 87.2 x 9.2mm and weighs about 42 grams.
The menu and the interface is displayed on a 1.5inch full-color TFT LCD display with 8 lines. Regarding its capabilities as a music player, the PMP can deal with the most popular file formats on the market, such as MP3, MP3 VBR, WMA/ASF and MTV video format in AVI, MPEG 4, WMV or Quick Time for the movie format support. They can all be converted to the MTV format, using a special converter software, accessible on the market. Photo files can also be slide show using the JPEG and BMP formats. The system works with both Windows and Mac.
In addition, the specs list mention about an integrated voice recording and voice activating recording features. As expected, there is also a useful one-touch radio recording. It offers multi-language support, which means it can be used abroad also. The player's sound performances can be customized with one of the EQ modes included in the menu.
As for its recharging option, the MPIO device gets juiced up via a single built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, capable of about 20 hours of continuous music playback and about 6 hours of video content playback.
The pricing details haven't been confirmed yet, but it looks like an affordable device. We should see about that! |
