Making too many storage devices can make you sick, and that's exactly what happened to the giant Memorex. Therefore, they came up with a brand new, too pink 'to be true audio player, which resembles more with a candy, rather than with an MP3 player.
The real problem with these players is their tasty looks, which can often pass as being not so professional, as let's say some sober Samsung media player. Since they made a simple and tiny audio player, Memorex though the device should look better without any integrated screen display. Needless to say, some critics have immediately associated the media player with Apple's iPod shuffle, a rather unfair way to compare the two different styles of the players.
There is no doubt this player's main advantage is its extremely portable sizes, of about 2.3 x 2.3 x 0.8 inches. limited resources or probably the extremely lightweight form shape are to blame for the humble internal memory capacity the makers have embedded.
But, let's face it, whoever might be interested in purchasing this kind of device, is for sure not into much gadgetry, therefore he/she will surely not need more than the embedded 512 MB storage capacity, enough for let's say 124 tunes in MP3 kbps format, This confirms cuteness can sometimes lack brain.
When it comes for the player's capacity, it cannot do any impressive stuff, just some MP3 and WAV file format reading. it gets powered via an integrated battery, claimed to last up to 10-12 hours on a single charge.
And yup, that;s about pretty much the player can do, so o not be surprise if you won't find any cool extra option like a green lantern or an altimeter integrated in the device. no to mention the official product web site clearly lacks info o the matter. Too bad!
And hey, do not wonder about the official price tag and availability. It's not going to happen, at least not today! |
