The future of entertainment is a portable one, as most people listen to music/watch videos especially while being on the go. The 22Moo subdivision, YelloMosquito knows that only too well, so they developed a revolutionary device, known as Qingbar GP300, which will enable its users to watch their favorite movie through a simple pair of glasses, complemented with a hi-fi audio system through a pair of included earphones.
The Qingbar high tech glasses feature a sleek, light and cool design line. The makers used LCOS micro displays to deliver crispy and clear images, which can actually simulate the images generated by a 50-inch display from 2 meters away. The LCOS displays offer a 432x240 pixels resolution (WQVGA), as well as a 200:1 contrast ratio and a 22-degree viewing angle.
Another major selling point of these video glasses from YelloMosquito is that they don't actually need to be connected to an external media player. Thus, they provide built-in media playback capabilities, the content being loaded into the device via a miniSD card slot.
The glasses offer support for a wide array of file formats, such as MP3, WMA9, IMA and AAC for the audio content, MP4/MPG/AVI/ASF(MPEG1/2/4 ( Divx3.x/4.x/5.x & XviD) for video files, as well as JPEG/Baseline JPEG+MP3 for digital photos, allowing both slideshow and music playback. Moreover, the device supports e-book .TXT files, allowing users to enjoy reading their favorite books anywhere, anytime.
Measuring only 180 x 175 x 40mm, the pair of glasses looks no different from your sky goggles. In fact, at just 100 grams, they're said to be even lighter. However, the Qingbar GP300 are pretty expensive, each pair selling for around 400 US dollars (which, nevertheless, is not even that high a price, given the fact that, after all, they come packed with their own portable media player). |
