The world radio comes with an ultra-compact design which will easily fit in your pocket and hand bag without making you leave something at home out of space-related issues; these small dimensions will also make the Roberts R876 look cool in almost any decor, no matter where you will happen to be – it can be easily placed on book shelves, tabletops and so on, for your comfort.
The Roberts R876 offers reception for LW/MW/SW and FM waveband stations, thus covering pretty much any station from all around the world. Even more, it comes with no less than 54 station presets for easy access to you fav content and programs. It features direct, keypad-based tuning, while the ATD system automatically stores stations in presets (except on SW). Tuning has a 1kHz step for accurate identification of the desired station, while stereo signal (where available) is offered via earphones. You can also use the headphone out socket to relay the signal to further amplification gear.
This radio has dual conversion for improved SW image rejection and doubles as a digital clock with alarm functions and key lock for safer operation. The package comes with dual voltage AC adaptor, portable SW aerial, earphones, soft carrying pouch and BBC World Service frequency guide; it runs on 3 AA batteries for portability and retails for less than $260. |
