The legend of Elvis must live on, or at least that's what the fellows from WowWee think, as they have a pretty cool Elvis-look-alike android included in their portfolio. This bot not only resembles the great artist, but it also sings, talks and gives you shivers just like the original one. Beside its leather jacket, styled from its 60's shows, Elvis features an impressive array of facial animations and a couple of other interesting technical specs as well.



When "using" Elvis, you can choose from a couple of preset status modes, among which there is the alive mode, the song one, the monologue mode and the sing through mode, which is the most interesting feature of all because it allows users to plug in a microphone and sing along with their idol.



The robot comes with an included remote control that's been shaped like a microphone, which allows users to access a lot of functions like: volume, play/pause, song and of course the monologue selector. Moreover, you're not going to get bored too soon, as Elvis comes with no less than 37 monologues about his life and can sing one of his eight best-loved songs.



Other technical features include a built-in infrared vision sensor, a 10-watt stereo system, an audio line-in interface and a microphone jack, although the microphone is not included in the box. Elvis gets juiced up via 8 D and 3 AAA batteries. Even though the dimensions (20.25 x 21.75 x 13.75 inches) might allow you to do so,  you must not take Elvis for a dance. And that's simply because, even if it's priced at around 300 US dollars, the WowWee Elvis robot is only a....torso.
