Have you always longed to have your own pool, and now that you have one of quasi-Olympian size, it seems to be getting dirty a lot faster than you can clean it, and hiring a professional pool cleaner would cost you way too much?
Well, it seems that this very “hard” job up which was up until now carried out by temps or part-time human employees might soon be taken over by robots, since an Israeli company, iRobot, has just launched the Verro 600 model, a device whose only purpose in life is to clean up your pool perfectly.
Thus very innovative device has been fitted with roller brushes that scrub the pool surfaces while a powerful vacuum and self-contained filtration system pick up and trap dirt and debris plus algae, bacteria and debris as small as 2 microns. The Verro 600 is also a fast little thing, since it can completely wipe out the dirt in a normal pool in around 60-90 minutes, pumping around 16 cubic meters of water per hour.
However, the pool-cleaning robot developed by iRobot does a lot more than simply cleaning up your pool. It plays a very important part in the improvement of the flow of water and various cleaning chemicals around the pool, and also sports a reverse functioning system which allows it to clean the whole pool without the danger of getting tangled up in one place.
How much you have to pay to get your own Verro robot home? Apparently 1.200 bucks should be enough, at least at the company's web store. |
