If you crazy about golf, and every trip to the golf course is a reason of joy, but at the same time, a very saddening experience, since you simply stink at this game, or perhaps you are pretty good, but you're looking for that little something that will make you just a bit better than your opponents, things are about to change.
Well, whatever the situation might be, there's a very interesting solution at hand, namely the Advisor golf caps and visors provided by the American company SkyCap LLC., a series of devices which use the power of GPS technology in order to improve the users' chances of hitting a hole in one.
Let's see first of all how this device works. All the user has to do is utter a voice command, and their golf cap will quickly carry out one of the several possible functions, as for example the delivery of yardage data, the entering and tracking of various scores, pacing of play timing functions and many other capabilities. This is possible due to the high quality specialized microphone built inside the head band, capable of picking up the sound by using bone conduction technology, which will transmit all the commands to the processing system.
The devices use an advanced GPS system which allows the continuous tracking of real time positioning information against a detailed map of the users' selected golf course and the computation of distances to green leading/center/trailing, water bunkers and fairway boundaries are calculated.
Moreover, the courses may be conveniently searched and downloaded to the hat by using the company's course access website and hooking the hat to a PC with the supplied USB cable. In addition, the hat can record a course layout (green distances only) which can then be shared with other users.
