Are you hardcore scuba-diving fans, and you want your children to learn their way around an underwater propeller from a very early age, or you simply want to get them an interesting pool toy?
Well, whatever your reasons might be, the device you're about to see as follows could actually represent a very interesting solution, since the Seascooter Aquanaut manufactured by the Bombardier Recreational Products company under Sea-Doo license behaves exactly like an underwater rover, with one major difference: it's for kids.
Thus, the device can be used by kids weighing up to 45.4 kilos and, according to the manufacturers, is recommended only for kids with ages 5 and up. Moreover, it's not meant to be used in the sea, being designed for clean and calm waters (namely, pools), and works with rechargeable batteries.
The device doesn’t provide too high a speed (2 km/h – 1.2 mph) but if you consider the fact that it is supposed to be used by kids, this should be enough. It supports a depth of up to 3 meters which, again, shouldn’t be a problem because it was especially designed to be used in the pool and by approximately 5 year-old kids. The Seascooter Aquanaut is able to provide up to 60 minutes in continuously working mode.
Since it targets children, every security measure is quite welcome. The manufacturers, however, seem to have already foreseen this and implemented multiple features such as safety grille and safety lock.
Now, regarding the price: in case you think that your kids would really need such a device, you have to spend approximately 100 bucks on the whole package, a quite moderate price if we analyze the functions integrated into the product. However, don’t forget to check if the Seascooter Aquanaut is suitable for your children to use before purchasing it. |
