It would seem that the games more or less related to electric shocks are becoming increasingly popular, for reasons...well, very difficult to be specified. And one of the coolest devices that can be used for such games is the Shockball,
The device is just a red rubber ball, which has 18 conductive metal pads connected to an internal battery and a timer. The Shockball lets the users play some sort of "russian roulette", because the ball is thrown from one player to the other, until one (the unluckiest) gets a pretty nasty shock.
Shockball, the electric ball, measures 7 x 7 x 7cm, has an internal battery powered by an AC adapter, and, as any device of this type, is not recommended for persons who have a pacemaker installed.
The device works with 2 AAA batteries which are not included in the package so don’t forget to buy the batteries before attempting to turn the device on. However, the product is equipped with an on/off button which allows you to turn it on or off so it shouldn’t be a problem if you want to play regular catch without any electric shock.
Keep in mind that the Shockball is only suitable for ages 14 years+, so buying one of those for your kid may not be such a good idea. Also, the manufacturers recommend to keep it away from pets.
The device is available in two colors, blue and red, and can be bought for approximately 30 bucks. Sure, many of you may consider that this price is quite high for such a product but playing catch with friends has always been an attractive game, no matter you were using a regular ball or a ‘time-bomb’. |
