Fanatec is a registered trademark of Endor AG an represent the branch that designs professional gaming controllers. While most gamers are used to controlling cars using a keyboard or a gamepad, there are some (actually more than just some) that prefer or enjoy using a steering wheel that is as close as possible as the real thing.



For them Fanatec developed the Porsche 911 Turbo Wheel. This gaming device is not like other weels, it will make even non-gaming fans glout since it follows the original Porsche 911 Turbo steering wheel design, complete with leather and the likes. The product was designed alongside Porsche`s strictest standards: hand stitched leather, original metal Porsche logo etc.



On the tech side, this is one of the few (actually the only one i know) products that use the newly Wireless USB Technology. This guarantees users smooth gameplay with no interference whatsoever and latency free transmission.



Regarding acceleration and braking, the pedals are also authentic and link wirelessly with the gaming machines. The device also comes with two gear sticks and allows users to use either the 6+1 Speed H-pattern or the automatic sequential pattern.



The powerful Mabuchi RS 550 Motor incorporated in the wheel delivers extra strong ForceFeedback effects and two additional Force Feedback actuators in the wheel simulate motor vibrations. The wheel has the ability to save up to 5 wheel setups so gamers can calibrate the device with different games and once they reach the desired result just save it and use it next time they play the same game.



The controller is compatible with the PC and PS3 and comes packed with the power supply required by the wheel. The pedals have a 100+ battery life so there is no concern anybody will remain stranded mid game.
