Over time, the Logitech company has released quite a large number of PC accessories, including a fairly large number of gaming-related products. And that's also the case with the MOMO racing wheel, which, despite being continuously manufactured for quite a long time now, still manages to prove successful and to compete against the more recent devices of this type to arrive on the market.
The gaming peripheral allows users to control pretty much all of the features they might need within a certain car game. The Momo features a force feedback system, which provides authentic directional assistance, as well as Gas and Brake pedals and a manual knob. Plus, the driving wheel is accompanied by paddle shifters (for keeping one's hands on the wheel), and a manual knob on the side.
Moreover, the device also offers an enhanced level of comfort, since the 11-inch wheel features a protective rubber layer. Plus, Logitech's designers have also added a few stability-related features, since the foot pedals sport a carpet-grip system, while the wheel itself includes a Triple Clamping system, in order to prevent it from rocking or slipping on the desk.
The wheel from Logitech is compatible with most of the operating systems around, including here Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP or Windows Vista, which means that it will most likely work quite well with just about any game users might decide to install and run, either old or new.
The Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Wheel will set users back around 100 US dollars (or less, depending on the particular vendor), but for this sum they'll also receive the stick shifter and paddle shifters, gas and brake pedals with carpet grip system, the setup guide, an installation CD-ROM, the power supply and a 1-year warranty card. |
