The Dali Concept 2 are simply the expression of beautiful design and exceptional audio performance, all packed in a small enclosure that will definitely surprise the unaware; they come loaded with Dali's traditional impeccable craftsmanship and high-quality materials that make a high-end loudspeaker.
The Dali Concept 2 are nothing less high-end than other larger floorstanding loudspeakers and in fact, the technology and performance “concentration” is actually higher than in the case of the large speakers – technically, the Dali Concept 2 sport the same engineering like the bigger “toys”, but at smaller scale.
The Dali Concept 2 comes as a loudspeaker that can be used in smaller stereo arrays as well as in larger, top-notch multi-channel surround systems with equal success; its frequency response allows for both shimmering highs and it presents bass that will do just great in both situations. No matter if used as a main/front speaker or in side/surround position, the Dali Concept 2 will sport the same lifelike sound with natural warmth coming from the wooden cabinet with dual bass reflex front-firing ports.
The Dali Concept 2 has a 2-way architecture with a 6.5” woofer whose cone is made paper fiber and can deliver both a 43Hz bottom end and crisp mids for excellent vocal reproduction in movies or music alike. The higher end of the audio spectrum is covered by the 1” soft textile dome tweeter with a top-frequency of 25kHz and which will create a seamless sonic imaging for all your media; with a total sensitivity of 87dB, the Dali Concept 2 's driver complement is not one of the loudest speakers around, but its sound will also be clean and distortion-free, regardless of the volume of the playback.
The Dali Concept 2 runs in 8 Ohms impedance and can develop 108dB sound pressure level with a max 120W power and sells for under $400. |
