The Dali Evidence 470 is one floorstanding loudspeaker you'd be glad to wake up to, everyday; not only do they look powerful and mighty, but their sound is also great. The same Danish engineers have hand-crafted the Dali Evidence 470 as the rest of the Dali high-end speakers – there was no compromise in their make and this can be seen in the way these loudspeakers perform.
The Dali Evidence 470 sports a tall cabinet made of wood and thoroughly braced internally for enhanced structural resistance against vibrations and unwanted resonance that negatively affect such equipment while the damping layers ensure pure driver performance without any impediments. The front cloth grille has a low-diffraction design so that no matter whether on or off, the Dali Evidence 470 will sound just the same.
You can use the Dali Evidence 470 as a high-end loudspeaker in home stereo applications as its sonic characteristics allow the use in great conditions and without a separate subwoofer. At the same time, the Dali Evidence 470 can be used as a front-channel speaker in ultimate surround sound arrays and it will provide you with a blasting quality sound.
The Dali Evidence 470 sports a 35-29,000Hz frequency range, being also suitable for SACD or DVD-Audio playback; it can blast a max power of 200W in 4 Ohms impedance and with 90dB sensitivity. The driver complement comprises two custom-made 6.5” paper fiber cone woofers and a 1” soft dome tweeter, made of coated silk. This driver-array can develop 111dB sound pressure level and thus be suitable for larger rooms without fear of the sound becoming faint or starting to lack precision.
The advanced technologies used for both drivers and crossover networks make sure that the sound is clean and transparent even at very high volume levels or after prolonged listening sessions, thus allowing great times for both music and movie fans. Selling for around $1,250. |
