If you like sound, then it is a “no matter what are you building” issue: the modern living place has to be loaded with sound and no matter what kind of sounds you like most, better speakers will always make better audio.
With the home-sound philosophy in mind, Energy has designed a new series of speakers meant for in-wall and in-ceiling installation only. The EAS series relies of the proven Energy excellence and the long years of experience; while using only top tech components to achieve top-shelf sound.
Why settle for one-room audio when you can actually build your own distribution system and enjoy the music you like most in every corner of the house, from dorm room to kitchen and from the backyard lawn to your bathroom? Never have things been so easy and affordable: Energy simply offer everything, from the good sounds to the great looks and overall high level of comfort.
The Energy EAS 6C is one speaker that can very well go in home theaters as well: it sports a 6.5” Injection Molded Homopolymer cone which is actually capable to deliver sound as low as 55Hz. Not the lowest of the low sounds but they are not intended to be used alone when in home theater installations.
At the middle of the cone lies a 1” aluminium dome tweeter that will easily reach an upper frequency level of 20kHz adding precision and definition to your audio. The tweeter sits on a pivoting structure which will allow you to tilt the HF source in a certain degree thus obtaining a better directivity control over your sound and being able to enhance the way your movies or distributed audio sounds.
The Energy EAS 6C sports a maximal power of 100W RMS and the overall sensitivity is a typical 89dB. These features combined give a more than decent result, taking into account the fact that multiple such loudspeakers are to be used simultaneously.
The Energy EAS 6C runs at 8 Ohms impedance and it can be yours for roughly $225. |
