In the Gale's Series 30, the 3090W is the biggest subwoofer and is the perfect choice in case you want to add some serious punch to your stereo or multichannel installation. This bass powerhouse has been developed to deliver a thorough sonic performance, matching very well that of the other Series 30 loudspeakers for an overall richer soundstage and a more powerful, immersive sonic field.
This cubic and timeless-design bass powerhouse has been engineered to offer users the sonic performance most people are looking for but at the same time, it has been designed as an example of spartan, noble elegance. Easy to integrate in almost any home decor thanks to the removable front cloth grille, the Gale 3090W sports a classy appearance that will seriously diminish one's desire to stow this sub away behind curtains.
The Gale 3090W sports a compact cabinet made from wooden panels, with a strong and thick front baffle and walls, with double bass reflex ports placed in the rear. The internal bracing and damping ensure undetectable resonance and vibrations and enforce a better-sounding LF reproduction, while the four spiked feet decouple this bass machine from the floor.
At the heart of the Gale 3090W is an actively-driven 12-inch long throw woofer with a massive rubber surround for longer excursion, powered by an internal, Class D digital amplifier which can drive as much as 150W RMS into the front-firing diaphragm; the massive voice coil helps reducing dynamic distortions while at the same time offers better cooling for a great audio reproduction over longer periods of time.
Additionally, the Gale 3090W can blast from a rumbling 25Hz up to 150Hz, working with an active crossover and being able to handle both line and high-level input signal. Unfortunately, the only way you'll get a price estimate for this thing is to contact the manufacturer directly. |
