| | SpyCamMan Shower Mirror Security Camera | Reviewer: E.
Date: 10 Oct 2010, 20:38 GMT
| Spycamman has some really great products at very reasonable prices, however, they have been inactive for over 30 days now. Emails sent are also not answered. Really apitty. Which I knew who carries the same products for the equal or similar prices. My extensive search so far has proven fruitless. Because it is imperative that I get the two items found on their site, I will not stop trying to find them. I check spycam daily, and although the site is always updated, one cannot order anything. Perhaps someone out there can help me out.... I'd really be grateful. |
| DutchTub | Reviewer: jay bee

| I love the Dutch tub concept and the fact that it is both a design feat (matter of taste of course) and a portable alternative to the more immobile solutions. Despite all this I'm a bit perplexed. Although it does not explicitly wax lyrical about saving the environment and preach pretentious tree hugging ptactises, it does hint toward environmental awareness and being one with nature.
I love the tub but to take it one step further it would be nice to see how users substitute wood for alternative heating fuels which will save from chopping mangrove, bush sticks and other trees just for a two our burn to pleasure. The burning of wood to fuel stoves and coal pots around developing countries is becoming a major concern. countries like India are compressing wood chips, garbage and other by products to create heat intensive recyclable material. wouldnt that buy off a little guilt :) :)
Dutch tub remains cool!! |
| Genius Traveler 915BT Laser Bluetooth Mouse | Reviewer: hktr

| Very nice and attractive design... however, my amazement ended right there. Lost signal very often, until my unit died after only 3 months of use... First sign of trouble the scroll wheel got stuck and impossible to move, so I had to unscrew the hole thing and put some grease so the scrolling movement got back to smoothness. Next thing, for the next 2 days it worked perfectly and then suddenly died. No change of batteries, or reset were capable of bring this otherwise beautiful mouse back to life. |
| LG SolarCUBE LightOven | Reviewer: Baz
Date: 20 Sep 2010, 20:28 GMT
| Oh that this product is as good as it looks... Sadly, it's not.
Our first SolarCUBE expired after just three months use (as a microwave only - we bought a SolarCUBE as back-up to our main oven).
Its' replacement has now just expired again - £350 for 18 months use, and only as a microwave!
Contact with LG was pointless - a repair bill have to be made irrespective. Of course, we could have paid £69 to extend the warranty but didn't believe it would be necessary on a supposedly high-end product from a major manufacturer. Why don't they just charge £419 and give a free 5-year guarantee if they lack confidence in their products?
Trust me, this is one product that NEEDS every extended warranty you can get!
It is poorly made and we sincerely wish we had purchased the SMEG instead.
Be warned...

| Hello,
I liked your product quite much and I am very much interested to buy it.
However, the problem is that I live in India and I am not sure whether it would work or not. If it does work, than I would consider my self as one the luckiest person to avail such a wonderful features of Delphi satellite radio. Kindly, revert me back as I would wait for your response.
Thanks and regards,

| Dali Suite 2.8 Loudspeakers | Reviewer: greentg
Date: 01 Jul 2010, 09:37 GMT
| I have had my Dali suite 2.8 speakers for about six months and they arewnow nicely run in. As far as teh sound is concerned, I can only agree with the reviews above, they sound superb and seem to be able to strike the balance between out and out power and delicay. They are connected to a valve amp (itube 452), which as you may know can be weak when it comes to bass. However, with a sensitivity of 90db, the suites have no issue in that area at all. Granted it might not be enough to please out and out "bass-heads", but I find it to be more than adequate for my needs. In all honesty I can't fault them and to hammer that point home, I paid £399 for mine (they are now discontinued), but they originally retailed at £1000, I would have paid the latter price and still have been very happy with them. |

| I have had this for a couple of months. It takes some getting used to, but it is well worth the cost. It is about 2-1/2" square. There is an adapter to hang it off the side of the laptop, or it has rubber feet to sit on. I purchased mine on Ebay since I couldn't find a seller in the US. |

| Asus Lamborghini VX2S Notebook | Reviewer: Pete
Date: 29 Mar 2010, 20:34 GMT
| 5 things I hate about this laptop
1st. battery life is poor, it doesn't even last for 2 hours
2nd. it's as heavy as rock!
3rd. you can't work with it while it's on your lap, or on desk because of the placement of fans, it becomes too hot and fan directs all the heat to your lap, if you put it on desk this time hot air is directed to your right hand! If you are use your left hand then no problems but most people like me use mouse with their right hand.. I have to put objects between my hand and this piece of junk in order to prevent my hand from burning! My other laptops never had this problem.
4th . It has driver issiues with Windows 7 and keeps crashing.
5th. touch pad is too sensitive, it becomes annoying when writing text beceause you end up writing in another spot |
| Kodak EASYSHARE 5500 All-in-One Printer | Reviewer: Harsh Bawa

| Printer is very good.
Is not compatible with LINUX.
Two sided printing can be done only with the help of computer. when you try to print any document, in the printing preferences or properties, you need to select two-sided printing and the printer will automatically print on the back side.
The option might be grayed out sometimes if the duplexer at the back is not installed correctly.
Make sure that it is inserted properly!! |
| Reusch Solaris Heated Ski Gloves | Reviewer: Chic Lasser
Date: 20 Mar 2010, 00:10 GMT
| I owned these gloves and can not say a good thing about them other than the glove itself was high quality. The system leaves a ton to be desired. battery life is awful, at med setting 96min at an outside temp in the 20's (F). Batteries are not removable so you can not carry extra's. BUT THE WORST PART IS THAT REUSCH REFUSES TO RESPOND TO EMAILS I HAVE SENT THERE PRODUCT MANAGER TO DISCUSS MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THERE PRODUCT!!! For $400 a pair the least I should get is a response. The local distributor has been great but it is totally out of there hands since they did not make or market the glove.
Advice stay away from Reusch Products and if heated gloves are the way you want to go, try a product by Thermic, they work and they have removable batteries so you can get an entire day out of two sets of batteries at 0 degress (F). |
| "Peep hole reverser"-Tactical Door-Viewer | Reviewer: Dave
Date: 19 Mar 2010, 19:58 GMT
| I can't tell if this has much value beyond its proposed value proposition for law enforcement. A peephole is wonderful because it costs nothing to drill a hole into a door and stick two lenses on either side of the hole. This looks like it could cost some money, and if folks are actually willing to spend money on watching who is on the other side of a door, why not just buy a camera?
Exhibit A:
Dropcam is an example of a camera that will send video of who's on the other side of the door to your computer.
I just don't see this as a practical product given its use-case. |
| Wifibot U-Trooper Robot | Reviewer: Steinar Moen
Date: 14 Mar 2010, 01:23 GMT
| This looks very cool! Will be useful too, with a robotic arm and waterproof camera! :-) Wonder how much it costs...
But it seems like the dimensions have been multiplied by 10...
5130 x 4050 x 1540 mm doesn't make sense.
The same error seems to be published at http://www.wifibot.com.
Best regards,

| Super Trackstick GPS Tracking Device | Reviewer: Sarah C
Date: 12 Mar 2010, 16:18 GMT
| Well, not such a positive experience here (in Europe).
The device doesn't respond to anything but my USB-port where I receive the message that no data has been recorded. This after a week in Power ON modus in the car with no metal blocking it. I bought brand new Recyko batteries for the purpose.
It's also very hard to get the track manager to see the device on the PC. I have to play around with the batteries a bit and if I'm lucky the red light will go on and the trackstick manager will read the device. If there's any reading to do at all, that is.
There's a serious LED-problem in the one I got: it's either solid red (with fully charged batteries...?) or there's no LED flashing (also with fully charged batteries and yes, power still ON). Result: no data recorded.
I conducted a second test, presuming reception from within the car must have been too hard, I clipped the device on top of a bike and cycled for about two hours through the city. No LED was flashing (fully charged batteries) and upon arrival, again no data appeared to be recorded. But I must admit the magnet was pretty tight as the device didn't come off on all those bumpy roads. Well, that's something.
Upon plugging in batteries it does go red for a few seconds and after that the LED goes off and remains off.
I'm going to return the device and prefer to receive my money back.
I can hardly believe government agencies, police, intellgence, and homeland security personnel actually use this device (as the website promotes), with all that negative press and my experience added to that.
I would not recommend it. Good quality should show from the beginning. |
| Apple iPod shuffle 4GB | Reviewer: Brian Abbey
Date: 19 Feb 2010, 20:23 GMT
| I have had the exact same issue as all the previously posted opinions: I am just too sweaty! I bought my first 4gb Shuffle in January for the specific purpose of jogging and hiking. After two strenuous runs, I began noticing the volume changing randomly and I had no means to alter it with the controls. I thought the headphones might be faulty but somewhere in the back of my mind I was already entertaining the idea that I sweat too much. I am like Kevin Smith without the fat but more sweat. It's not you Apple, it's me.
Out of a willingness to give Apple another chance, or my own inertia - it's hard to discern my grace from my laziness, I continued to work out with the Shuffle, accepting its eccentricities of randomly changing the volume and not allowing me to change tracks. I even went so far as to start eliminating the lesser desirable tracks from my iPod since I would have no means of skipping a song during a run.
I finally broke down this week and returned to the Best Buy where I had originally purchased the iPod. Thank goodness I had also purchased the 2-year protection. (kids, always use protection) I exchanged the player, once again giving Apple the benefit of the doubt that it is merely a faulty set of headphones.
Yesterday was my first run with the new iPod. For the first six miles it worked fine but right after six, with gallons of sweat pouring down my body and my occasional awkward jerk of the headphones to disperse the sweat, it would no longer allow me to change tracks. Worse yet some evil person had put a Peter Cetera song in my play list and I was forced to listen. Damn you Apple!!
One run - 7.2 miles and it is done.
The clerk at Best Buy said I could return this one as well and let me know that people are returning them all the time. She also said that I could ask to speak to management next time and they would cut me a deal on an adapter since there are so many replacements coming in. This of course entails me buying an additional sweat-proof pair of headphones as well as getting a deal on the adapter (I think it's called the Madoff package) but my only other foreseeable option is to cover my body in antiperspirant and jog in a speedo, which might work for me but prove disastrous for the other joggers.
Note to potential buyers: If you are looking at the Shuffle to play music while you work out, please don't work out strenuously. Try something a bit tamer - like a real slow walk...in the snow. |

| Pro-Aqua Wet Vacuuming System | Reviewer: Adam V
Date: 27 Jan 2010, 22:07 GMT
| I disagree with some of the earlier reviews. This is far from a waste of money. This thing can clean better than any vacuum I have ever used. It is noisy, but no different than say a Dirt Devil or a Hoover. I ran my Dirt Devil over the carpet and after that I ran the Pro Aqua and It picked up things I never knew were in the carpet. If you have Pets, this is for you. Cleans pollen and pet dander out and makes the room smell clean and fresh. You can even get the attachments to use it as a shampooer if need be. Anyone that don't like this is because they don't want to take the extra step to drag it around. My hose never came out once. It also has a safety so you don't clog the brush up and fry your belt. If you run over a wire or something, it shuts off. Smooth feel and very powerful suction. WELL worth the high price I had to pay. No regrets at all though.. |
| Royal King B-5002 Computerized Steam Shower | Reviewer: Lopez

| Purchesed the Royal B512 unit for a bathroom remodel last February 2009, and it was delivered quickly and no damage for these huge units, Then the fun began. Finally got the unit put together which was a feat with the poorly written instructions, drove the plumber nuts . Then the electrician was call out to hook it up . We used the unit 3X and on the fourth use the steam unit wouldn't produce any steam. To be fair the unit has a five year warranty and technical staff was helpfull at first. The second steam unit was sent to our house because no one could figure out why it wouldn't work after three uses. The unit arrived and was a 220V which isn't compatable with our 110V set up, the tech said it was the right unit and that they say 220V on the unit but are really 110v??? Meanwhile, two trips from the electrician getting $$$$ Now the second unit was installed and still no steam and the technicians from Atlas Distribution ie:Steam Showers/Rangehoods inc.com are not available said they have a bunch of unit coming in soon!! Be careful what you buy, I would'nt recommend this company or unit to anyone!!
