A good gaming mouse from Sharkoon

Quake, Doom, Unreal Tournament or any other shooter fans out there, rejoice! A new affordable mouse has joined us and its name is Rush FireGlider from Sharkoon. Although similar to most gaming mice (not a lot hasn't been done when it comes to gaming mice), it has a few unique feature that may turn your head when you're walking through a store shopping for the right mouse to satisfy the gamer inside.

You should know that this mouse is laser-based and its refresh rate may be adjusted from 600 to 3600 DPI. The cool factor about this peripheral is that a plenitude of multi-colored LEDs on the mouse let the user know what DPI level has been selected. I also like the Teflon feet on the bottom, helping the mouse move smoothly even over hard surfaces. In case your were wondering about how many buttons it has, wonder no longer because it has the usual six programmable buttons fit on an ergonomically-shaped body.

Speaking of its body, its “flame on a black background” glossy appearance may not be what gamers are looking for but it will definitely turn eyes especially if you have computer-interested guests. As a gamer myself, I am offended by the lack of color options that gaming mice have. There are a ton of black and red (in this case, the image of a flame) mice but almost no other colors for us gamers. Besides fluorescent green or blue, that is.

Anyway, have you ever felt like the mouse was moving a bit too fast or too slow and no sensitivity in the world could fix it because it was your hand movements that made it so? This mouse tries to fix that problem, with an internal selection of weights that allow gamers to adjust it from 118 to 135 grams. Available for 25 Euros (31 USD), this mouse is indeed a worthy addition to any gamer's room.
