What Asus is actually trying to say is that this new model of Wi-Fi router that they are releasing is capable of holding multiple Ethernet connections, making it a more versatile tool in homes where a complete entertainment center is present/needed. The manufacturer is also talking about great value, but until the end of the official announcement on their website, they forget to mention a price. For the RT-N13U Wi-Fi Router.

This router comes with an EZ Bandwidth Prioritization technology, an interface Asus states will optimize the connections for a lag-free environment. They are talking about Ethernet connections, of course, which supposedly will work as fast as 300 MBps. You will not need these speeds if you are going to connect a fax or a printer machine to it, but when in need of some serious media streaming, you might enjoy a smooth powerful connection.

One good aspect of the RT-N13U Wi-Fi Router from Asus is the fact that it is highly customizable, or at least that's what they say. From what I understand, this one is able to do multitasking better than other routers thanks to the fact that it allows users to make their own presets for performance optimization. If users can always change certain connection parameters for every device connected to it, then call me a fan of this model right here. Also, it comes with an HSDPA 3G USB dongle, allowing you to easily establish a 3G wireless connection.

Still from the cool features list, the “no PC needed for downloads” characteristic must be mentioned. This router's Download Master software will make an image file of the downloaded goodies onto its internal storage, and it can then finish the download on an external USB storage device. It supports Wi-Fi protocols and offers security features as well. Too bad Asus doesn't mention a price.
