Here is one gadget that skipped our attention and has had very little exposure without you even knowing it. This 3D projector from Acer is now available throughout Europe and is one of the finest products out there, being capable of bringing the 3D experience you have always wanted, on the wall of your own living room.

Why wait for the more expensive 3D tools to be available when this DLP projector built by Acer is already on the market and can animate your walls at a lower price? Of course, the quality of the wall-mounted video is not the same in a flat-screen, but still you will be able to enjoy your PC games whenever you want. This HD-Ready H5460 projector supports the 3D technology through the 3D Vision software developed especially for PCs. It does not have a DVI port, however, so be ready to “adapt” yourself to its VGA-mini port.

The Acer approach to the new 3D tech is thus a projector, which will render all the images from your GPU through 3D shutter glasses and at speeds of 120 Mhz. When you're using the Acer HD5360, the glasses will show you the frame numbers: even frame numbers on the left eye and the odd frame number on the right eye. This way, gamers can always know the quality of the image. Unfortunately, because not even now companies deliver their 3D products with integrated 3D glasses, it doesn't come with its own pair of glasses. The good news is that nVidia integrates the 3D Vision tech in almost all graphic cards, even in low-end ones.

They say the Acer HD5360 is capable of 3,200:1 contrasts and the maximum resolution it can reach is 720p (1,280 x 720 pixels). Even if it isn't a Full HD projector, it is still a DLP projector capable of rendering quality images even on colored walls. This is done with the help of the ColorBoost II+ technology and the wall-color compensation. It costs approximately 520 pounds sterling according to the countries it is being sold in.
