So, remember the Acer Aspire Revo? You know, the nettop that us Europeans have been enjoying for quite some time now? Not exactly enjoying since it isn't my cup of tea; however, a lot of mainstream users have. Well, the Acer Aspire Revo has finally reached U.S. shores, ladies and gents, and has been made available for users to enjoy at the price of just 329.99 USD. In case you haven't yet met the Revo, we have an extensive review right here and I'll also be going through some of its finest features.

Specs, specs, here are the specs! Read them and be amazed! Ok, Intel Atom 330 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, NVIDIA ION, 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM, 160GB SATA Hard Drive, six USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI port, one eSATA port, a VGA port, multicard reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/Draft-N wireless, as well as wireless keyboard and mouse make up for the specifications. Sure, you also get USB stereo speakers and a high-definition headphone and microphone jack but you're probably expecting those anyway.

“The AspireRevo is a practical and highly adaptable nettop for the home - powerful enough to take on games but so thin, it can be neatly hidden from view,” said Susan Hu, Desktop Product Manager for Acer America. “It’s also energy-efficient and quiet. Quite simply, AspireRevo provides a pleasant visual experience for enjoying digital photography, HD videos and even casual games, in a surprisingly compact device.”

While the Aspire Revo is definitely not a device for gamers, NVIDIA ION and CUDA technologies combined with the awesomeness of Windows 7 Home Premium make it quite a powerful little guy. Powerful enough to allow you to perform tasks such as social networking, play some games, watch 1080p HD movies and so on.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
