If you've read some of my past articles, you probably know by now that I love flying. I love the fact that up in the air, everything seems so peaceful. You look at the fluffy clouds and for a few hours, you're separated from everything that is on the ground. Technology, crowds, tall buildings, everything is way down below. Did I say technology? Well, not anymore, my friends, because more and more companies are planning to offer you the Internet even at an altitude of 10,000 meters.

Goodbye fluffy clouds, farewell peace and quiet, hello Twitter, Facebook, Hi5, Yahoo Messenger, Live Messenger, Google Wave and whatever else people will be using. After a few others before them, it is time for American Airlines and Lexus to team up in order to offer free Wi-Fi to customers choosing to travel via American Airlines. The inflight Internet service is called Gogo and will let customers access e-mail, social media sites, e-shopping or whatever else they desire. I mean, why relax and just watch the clouds?

Thank God for small miracles, Skype seems to still be out of the question. Can you imagine an entire plane full of persons talking to their long lost relatives? Oh, boy! This new offer is set to coincide with the 2010 Lexus LS line that was recently introduced.
