We've talked like a million times (well, not exactly that much but a lot anyway) about the various types of cases designed for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS that have made their way onto the market lately, all of which provide advanced protection-related features, plus other “goodies” on the side, including here a rather unusual, and, in some cases, quite “
yummy” design.
However, while some cases look just like candy, others are what I'd dare to call quite strange, especially when we're talking about the manually manufactured ones, available on certain public web shops and online auctioning websites. And this is the case with the iPhone 3G and 3GS accessory you'll read about as follows, namely the Bacon and Egg iPhone Case available on
Etsy.
Created by an Etsy user/ artist from Germany called Antjes, this very
unusual case has been designed exactly “like a delicious bacon and egg breakfast,” as its creator puts it. In fact, the level of realism this thing can deliver is pretty impressive, while that of functionality is also noteworthy, given the fact that the “egg” doubles as a separate storage space, for your earphones, for example.
Moreover, Antjes informs us that the
case doesn't really have a seam, since it's felted in one piece. Plus, the piece of “bacon” that makes this whole “iPhone delish breakfast” complete is applied separately.
One Bacon and Egg iPhone Case sells for around 8 US dollars, which is a very good price point, not only because we're talking about a manually produced device, but also because it's very likely that you'll be one of the few people to own such an accessory, which will not only make you hungry every second you look at it, but also quite special.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
