Ality Limited, a consumer company, has just outed the Crystallized – Swarovski Elements, branded by Ality Crystal. Ality has
collaborated with the renowned crystal manufacturer, and has designed a digital photo frame targeting at home- and interior-deco for modern and minimal environments.
William Wong, CEO of Ality stated, "with our experience in the digital photo frame field, we looked to create a new product that combined our high product design quality with a unique style and brand appeal. By working together with Swarovski and fusing their crystals with our frames, we've succeeded in
creating a new concept that moves beyond consumer electronics and is as much a piece of home decor as a technology device".
Since the Ality Crystal is quite a pretentious product (I dare say it), the design is also excellent. This is one of the slimmest, if not the slimmest, digital photo frames in the world, with a thickness of just 12.3mm. Technically-wise, the Ality Crystal sports an 8-inch LCD panel, boasting an 800 x 600-pixel resolution.
On the storage side, the frame has
an in-built memory card slot, that supports MS, SD, MMDC and CF flash memory, packed with JPEG, Digital audio, AVI and MPEG files. The bundle includes the Crystal Digital photo frame, the stand base, a remote control, power adapter, an USB cable, the user manual and even a quick start guide. Pricing not available.
