Why just settle for a ordinary, everyday coffee table when you can have one that packs a Shuttle XPC with 100 of your favorite arcade games together with old school controls and joysticks like the Arcan Arcade Table does?

Let me start by admitting that I am a huge fan of these old school arcade games the Arcan Arcade Table packs, so this seems like one of the coolest thing in the world to me, especially if you consider that MAME is fully supported so you can run all your favorite arcade titles from back in the day.

Although it looks like your everyday coffee table, this thing is actually a Shuttle XPC system packed together with a 19 inch or 26 inch LCD monitor and one of the greatest arcade controllers I have seen until now.

Coming in with two joysticks, a trackball, a spinner and all the buttons that you may ever need, this is enclosed inside a special drawer that can be closed when you are not playing games.

But this is not all you get, since buried deep inside the table there is also a 30-watt stereo sound system so this is truly one complete solution for all your arcade gaming needs.

Of course, this can also be used as a normal PC, since it comes packed with Windows 7 Home Premium, but that would seems like such a shame since this thing screams retro arcade gaming from every pore.

Unfortunately, pricing wise this thing isn't that kind on us since it retails for £3,299 (about $5,061 US), but this may as well prove to be your next DIY pet project. (via ubergizmo)
