As just about every other NVIDIA integrator on the face of the earth came up with their own GT430 version, Asus couldn't stand aside from this new product launch fray, and also added their own implementation to the lineup in the form of the ENGT430 model, a low-profile unit that packs some of the company's trademark GPU technologies.

Of course, at its core, we're talking about an NVIDIA GT430 card equipped with 1GB of DDR3 memory and providing the standard set of specs we've talked about time and time again over these past two days, but the Asus implementation also sports some interesting extras.

For example, the built-in Dust-Proof fan should theoretically increase its functioning life (with up to 25 percent), while its low-profile makes it a very good solution for HTPC systems.

Moreover, Asus claims that their card will enjoy an enhanced level of durability with GPU Guard that prevents cracking and fracturing, even increasing drop and shock damage resistance, and Fuse Protection that prevents overcurrent-related loss of performance.

The ASUS ENGT430/DI/1GD3 (LP) will be available from October, with pricing depending on the conditions of the local markets, but most likely very close to NVIDIA's suggest MSRP.
