I am pretty sure gamers all around the world are going to be pretty interested in what I have to write in the following article regarding the latest and definitely greatest in gaming laptops. Co-developed by Smooth Creation and BFG, the Redeemer has arrived and, trust me, my friends, when I say this baby does not take prisoners. Featuring awesome artwork and even more awesome components, this mobile monster is a site to behold.

Let's start with something funny in order to lighten the mood, shall we? You've all played Unreal Tournament and Quake, right? Well, what's the chance for BFG (also a superweapon in Quake) to co-produce The Redeemer (an Unreal Tournament superweapon). Funny coincidence aside, this system is indeed the superweapon of gaming laptops.

The user may choose from one of three Core i7 processors (965 Extreme Edition included), pair it with dual BFG GeForce GTX 280 SLI graphics cards and after sprinkling 12GB worth of triple-channel DDR3 memory can start destroying their opponents. And why not start with a game of Unreal Tournament or Quake: Enemy Territory? You'll definitely be able to run them.

The Redeemer has a 17-inch full-HD ready display that also features a “perfect pixels’” guarantee (whatever that may be). Regarding storage capacity, you get to pick your own storage device (broad range of hard drives and solid state drives), as well as getting the option to include a TV tuner or web camera for those moments when you're blasting your way through enemies. It's powered by a 12-cell battery, which should be enough to keep it working for a pretty long time. How long, though, I can't really tell now.

Further details, such as dimensions and weight, are unknown, but we do know that pricing starts at 3.200 USD, with a lot of additions being available that will probably make you have to pay a lot more.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
