If there's one thing that keeps me going, that has to be music, and most people agree that it's one of the most powerful solutions for changing one's emotional state. It can make you smile or cry, surely dance and most of all, it can remind you of a specific moment in your life. BMB Electronics is a company that mixed the power of music with the latest LED Lighting technology, and unveiled a new product, the ebode LightSpeakers.

No, the name of the product does not refer to the solution being lightweight, but actually to the fact that this is an LED lightbulb that sports a speaker inside. From what I see, they are also lightweight, so the name comes to describe both features actually. One thing that I didn't get immediately was how one connects the audio to the ebode LightSpeakers, but somehow it was logical that these are wireless.

That way, customers only have to screw these in common E27 fittings that have the opening large enough to fit the extruded bulb, such as recessed lighting, lamps and pendants, and enjoy both sound and power consumption reduction. There's also a base station that can take two audio sources simultaneously, allowing users to toggle between a radio and their media player of choice, or computer.

As for the number of LightSpeakers, one base station can handle up to four pairs, so the overall system can perfectly suit offices, museums and other commercial environments, as well as restaurants. Another usage for these would be kitchens and other already agglomerated rooms in users' homes, where installing common loudspeakers would be too much of a hassle. Audio-wise, the LightSpeaker packs an 80mm driver, driven by digital amplification, with power-rating mentioned. For the moment, pricing is not available.
