I'm pretty sure that most of you out there have at least once been forced to pay an extra fee at the airport, simply because your luggage's weight was above the standard one accepted by your airline of choice, and in order to help you avoid such unwanted situation, a company called Balanzza has launched the Mini luggage scale.

As the third generation of handheld Balanzza scales, the Mini is the smallest yet, but still features an oversized LCD screen for improved visibility, weighs less than one-third of a pound and has a weighing capability of up to 100 pounds.

The patented design also makes it easy to work with, since users will simply have to secure the scale to the luggage handle by using the strap, lift with one or two hands, wait for the beep, and check the weight in pounds or kilograms.

“Balanzza is excited to bring another solution for every traveler’s struggles with luggage weight and fees,” stated Ronald Kritzler, president of Balanzza.

“Time and money are common worries when we travel, and the Mini provides convenient peace of mind,” Ballanza's president added.

The Balanzza Mini is available for $24.95, which is in fact a pretty small sum to pay for a device that might actually save you a lot of money otherwise spent on airline extra-charges.
