The results gathered are displayed via a simple web interface so that everyone can understand how a certain device impacts your household's energy consumption, the Conserve Gateway being compatible with smart meters that use the ZigBee network standard.

The interface allows people to easily track and reduce energy use in their homes and presents them with useful conservation tips while also offering utility companies the ability to push information to Conserve Gateway so you could get messages like: "By using your dryer more efficiently, you can save up to $76 per year," that will surely help in reducing the power consumption throughout your home.
