While the iPad accessories have taken a different turn
towards keyboards, the Kindle ones remain the same, only reading lights and sleeves being announced by the manufacturers of such gadgets. Like Belkin, for instance, which seems to have copied some of the models of iPad sleeves and turned them into products designed for the Kindle e-book reader.
Here is where you can see for yourselves.
The only one missing from the list of new Kindle accessories by Belkin is the Max, but there are the Pleat Sleeve and the Cap model to take care of this gap. And, of course, there are also the Vue and the Grip models of sleeves, which will protect your favorite
ereader while on the go from various external factors that might damage it, including you, the clumsy user.
All these new accessories can be found on Amazon as of today, including the LED light called the eBook Light. The product's code name is FSL073 and it sells for $24.99. It comes with a clip in order to attach itself to covers and stands, and the lamp head is placed on a flexible arm you can adjust for maximum reading comfort.
The prices for the four fresh Belkin Kindle sleeves start at $19.99, for the knit designed Cap Sleeve and the most expensive models announced here will be the $34.99 F8N327 and F8N326, or the Vue and the Pleat protective sleeves. The Grip will cost you $29.99 and it is the one built with laser-etched silicone.
The Vue sleeve (in the second picture) features an external pocket you can use to store other portable gadgets. This is very useful, though the sleeves are quite small themselves, being very easy to hide in a bag.
