Benro, one of the more affordable tripod manufacturers out there, has just announced the introduction of the new A-150EXU Digital Tripod Kit, that comes as the best solution for the customers looking for compact and lightweight products.

This is as lightweight as 0.99 kilograms, but will sustain camera plus lens combinations of up to 1.99 kilograms, which in my point of view, is a more than a fair ratio. As for the compact side of the highlights, the A-150EXU will fold down to just 52 centimeters, and still reach a maximum height of 160cm when fully extended.

Also, the center column is very versatile, as it enables photographers to shoot picture at just 19 centimeters from the ground, since it splits and is even reversible. The center column locking collar has a standard wing-nut style design, that allows both ease of use and extra strength, while the quick lock four-section aluminum legs make setting up the tripod fast, just like packing it up is.

Last, but not least mention-worthy, the thick layer of closed-cell nitrile butadiene rubber enables a firm and comfortable leg grip, while the rubber feet can be retracted for exposing the steel spikes, ensuring the tripod's stability no matter the terrain.
