Found on Chinavasion, the Bluetooth Landline Phone Adapter is the equivalent of Bluetooth Freedom, if you ask me, with the possibility to use both your PC and desk phone through this device and with the help of your Bluetooth-enabled headset. Practically, any Bluetooth headset will be welcomed by the Landline Phone Adapter that you can find on the Chinavasion website under the codename CVPM-B18.

Furthermore, this gimmick will connect with your PC as well and let you use IM, VoIP, or any other communication tools you might regularly use when chatting with friends at the computer. Unfortunately, there is no word about compatibility with Macintosh machines.

The technology it works on is the traditional Bluetooth 2.0, which will give it a range of up to 100 meters, so whether you are a busy mom who wants to take care of the house chores, while also giving your hubby instructions on what groceries to get while on his way back from work, or a busy desk clerk who often needs to make trips to the copier while also keeping up with the clients’ requests over the phone, you might be interested in the freedom of movement that the Bluetooth Landline Adapter can provide for you.

As you can see in the picture, it comes with all the cables it needs to connect to the phone and will support up to eight Bluetooth headsets paired at the same time. It also comes with its very own Line-in cable that you can connect to the PC and if ever ordering a gadget like this one, you can choose what plug adapter to get, so that it fits your power system. It even has an English manual so that you don't get lost while installing it. The gadget costs $40 on the aforementioned website.

Re: CVPM-B18
I bought one of these to try out - save your money. It does work and pairs with bluetooth earpieces, but there is a vicious echo of your own voice on all calls that no earpiece can counteract, which seems to be caused by the contraption itself . You also have to re-pair the earpiece a lot, which is tedious.

Had the same experience as the previous review. The "echo" is what makes this product a $50 paperweight.
