Boxlight Inc. has announced the release of its latest
projector, the PRO5000SL. It sports 5,000 lumens and was specifically designed to meet the need of the System Integrator and features three lens options beginning with throw ratios and 1.8:1 and going to a 4.1:1 throw ratio for long-throw applications.
Other mention-worthy features include LAN control with email monitoring and web access, network management, quick startup and cool down. It also offers easy installation like auto ceiling mount detection, auto keystone correction and auto brightness detection. If you want it, you can get a Hepa filtration system, for harsh environments, including an auto filter alert that can communicate with BOXLIGHT's Network Management Software.
"On the brighter end of our projector line, this feature-packed projector will be a favorite among large venue installations," says Carol Mazzuca, Business Development Manager, BOXLIGHT Inc. "It serves as an upgrade to our very popular Pro4500DP which had huge success in diverse large venue settings."
The Pro5000SL is based on a 3LCD design and boasts a 1024 x 768 resolution with a brightness ratio of 500:1. Other features are a DVI-I, VGA, S-Video, Composite and VGA video inputs. I almost forgot to mention the built-in 9 watt speaker for the cases when you don't have extra sound, though it would be amusing to have this projector and no speakers.
Pricing for such a big boy projector comes as it should, as big as the projector, that is. For this "little" fellow, you will have to pay no more and no less than $3,950. Available online.
