Brando does not seize to amaze me in coming up with the most useless devices, not to mention the
kitschy iPhone products. This time, it has come up with something that's not necessarily useless but merely like it reinvented the wheel. Of course, it reinvented it while ripping its every decency, style and everything good about it.
After several years of specialized brands that have developed good solutions for that, Brando thought of coming up with a diffuser for the internal flash of a camera. Point taken. Good for it, or not quite. It is designed in such poor taste and lack of versatility that it's almost worse than sliding an empty pack of cigarettes over your flash, both in results and look.
Let’s checkout the specs about the wannabe mini softbox. It looks like one, but it sure doesn't act like one. The maker says it's a Universal Flash Soft Diffuser for Built-in Pop-up Flashing and probably that's the only realistic specification of it, wait that's the name. From what it looks like, it's as easy to install and use as trying to zoom in on someone while focusing manually. Fixing to the flash case was designed so bad that I think it would actually stay stiller tied with a shoe lace.
"Design for wide range of camera," why am I being so mean? Actually, what could I expect from some company that doesn't even bother to use proper English? The flash diffuser also has a foldable design and it is provided with a small package for easy carrying and storage. Although I have a slight suspicion the package will be used for storage only once you play for five minutes with it.
You think I'm exaggerating and just making fun about poor Brando. Be my guest, look it up online and purchase it; the price tag says $11.00.
