The iPad has gotten a lot of attention and because the gadget is so precious, everybody until now has only thought of protecting it with their dedicated cases or sleeves. It seems that only Scosche has though of actually using it too. And since the iPad needs electric power in order to function, like most gadgets out there, the first iPad-optimized chargers are now born. Whether you'll be using one while
on the go, or from home, you will soon need a charger to keep it powered up.
Scosche has invented both car and home chargers, in order to fit the needs of the modern day Apple owner and with dual USB ports on top of that. Yes, these new chargers will allow you to power up another gadget as well, besides the Apple iPad. Of course, those of you that already have a car charger for your “other” gimmicks, will have to throw the old one to keep both items powered up.
Just remember, the 2.1 Amp port is for the iPad, as the 1 Amp USB port will gladly empower your iPhone or any other USB device
you might like to carry with you at all times. There is also talk about a kickBACK P1 case for the iPad.
“The new chargers and kickBACK P1 case are just the tip of the iceberg for our iPad accessory line,” said Kas Alves, executive vice president of Scosche Industries. “We will be announcing several industry first products via our Twitter and Facebook pages in the coming weeks, so become a follower and fan today so you don’t miss anything.”
On the manufacturer's official website, you will find the reVIVE II USB chargers for the iPad with a $24.00 price tag for the car charger and $29.99 price for the not-so-nomad reVIVE II charger. Also, their codenames are USB12V3 and, respectively, USBH3.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed.
