As VoIP and web conferencing applications have started to become ever more popular in the corporate sector, there was a need for specialized communication equipment that could fulfill the growing demands of the business market, ClearOne just announcing its CHATAttach 150 USB speakerphone system designed to be used in both small and mid-size conference rooms.

In order to rise up to the challenge, the CHATAttach system is made up of two CHAT 150 speakerphones that can be connected together to offer full-room coverage.

According to ClearOne its solution works with leading brands of VoIP phone systems, Internet phones and web conferencing applications, the CHATAttach speakerphone being connected to your laptop or desktop PC via a USB cable, while also offering full duplex support, echo cancellation technology, noise reduction as well as automatic gain and level controls and adaptive modeling.

So how much will this USB enabled speakerphone will set you back?

Well, here comes the scary part since this is available for no less then $849.99, quite an impressive amount of money for such a simple piece of hardware, so let's hope for ClearOne's sake these actually offer a OK sound quality.
